Like I mentioned before, this is an idea I've had since around the time of the last contest (and they are theoretically related, if you want them to be), so I'm excited to present you with this holiday season's contest (finally not holiday-themed, although you can make it holiday-themed if you want to!):
That's right! Yuri, shojou-ai, femslash, whatever you want to call it, whether it's a nyo, a female country or even an OC! We all know there's plenty of love for yaoi in this fandom, so let's stir the pot and have some girl love!
Contest requirements:
Must be a reader insert
Must feature a girlxgirl pairing as the main pairing
It can focus on a nyotalia girl, a canon female character or a female (or genderswapped) OC
Must be submitted by January 1st
Must be submitted to the "Christmas Contest" folder, located just under the "Featured" folder!
You cannot submit more than three entries!
You do NOT have to be a member of the group to enter!
Contest judging should be done by January 10th!

Hi everyone,
So I have noticed that we have had some issues with the folders recently, so I went through the settings and now, you should be able to submit works to any folder. Also, I want to sincerely apologize for the inactivity from this group. As some of you may know, I have 'left' deviantart (hold it right there, I'll explain myself.) I haven't in a sense, really left. I'm just not uploading deviations on a regular basis and honestly the drama surrounding CORE etc was getting too much for me. I am stil active here so, I can manage the groups I am in charge of. The other reason for inactivity is that I am a full-time student, and

New Founder
Hey guys, Rocky here. I've had this group for almost two years now and it's been fun, but I think it's run it's course. I'm a little old for reader inserts and while I still love Hetalia, I think the group would benefit from a Founder who was more passionate about the group's base purpose. I've had fun hosting contests and seeing what you guys come up with, seeing people challenge themselves and try new things and I'm glad to know I'll be leaving the group in good hands.
p-ink-bunnies (https://www.deviantart.com/p-ink-bunnies) has graciously accepted the Founder position, so it's an in-house promotion. She's done a great job as a Co-Founder and I feel confident she'll do a stell
Image Use Reminder
This is just a reminder that if you're using an artist's image in your fic, as a preview image or anything else, you need to credit them. Saying "This isn't mine" or "Credit to the artist" does nothing; you should have an actual link to the original image. If you don't know where you got it, saucenao is a good place to check, or you can do a reverse Google image search. If you still can't find it, please don't use the image.
If you're really nice, you should ask permission from the artist before using their image at all.
